Our first Lunch with the CEO centered around being remarkable this 2018, a fitting message in our drive for the Relentless Pursuit of Excellence.
Fiona Kesby, our CEO, started off by congratulating everyone for a remarkable performance in January, followed by birthday greetings to all January celebrators. Also given a warm welcome were James and Stephanie, our visiting clients, who are here on a massive hiring blitz to grow their team by up to 80 CSRs.
On that note, Fiona announced that we are halfway through to our 2018 growth target of 500 employees. We are now 263-strong and growing by the week. A special mention went out to Nelson Palanas, Jr., who had the distinction of being the 250th person on the payroll.
This month’s awardees were led by Hazel Yu, Rodolfo Ugang, and Rhea Embalsado, who all got the CEO Award. Vanessa Apal and Joyce Bacatan received the Drive award. Execute awards were handed out to Charmaine Tero and Michael Ysalina. RC Nino Villalino, Mary Grace Ruiz, and Earl Saniego were the awardees for Care, Learn, and Find a Way, respectively. In addition, Nino was recognized for completing and getting the Team Portal online in 3 days. Finally, loyalty awardees who have been with GO-VA for one, two, and three years were acknowledged. In an industry where longevity is measured in mere months, we proudly own one of the lowest turnover rates.
Fiona announced our newest promo, called “Win an Island Holiday.” The team member with the most successful referrals at the end of the year will win P20,000 cash for their dream holiday.
For those who are wondering whether GO-VA was moving, Fiona clarified that we are not. We are instead looking for a third office to accommodate our growth. However, any possible opening date is still 6-12 months down the road.
